Meet Amber
Meet Amber
I’m Amber, the creator of Not Calm.
I am a therapist and coach in NYC who specializes in anxiety and working with the nervous system.
I created this space because those of us who experience stress and anxiety are often told that we need to just calm down. After many years of study and experience, I’ve learned that this is not the goal. In fact, holding onto this expectation often works against us.
So, I’m offering a different kind of support. Calm is not the goal. Learning about our body and how it works, is. When we understand our physiology and have some basic tools to support it, we start to feel anchored and empowered.
My hope is that the resources offered here can help us collectively move toward greater awareness, alignment and stability.
I’ll see you there!
